I'm Holly, the maker behind Amethyst Ember.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I am a mom to 3 wonderful children, a fur mom, a wife to the most amazing and supportive husband - who also helps with this business, an entrepreneur with 2 corporations, a certified Reiki master/teacher, an Advanced Crystal Practitioner, and a Certified Herbalist.
I create handmade energy enhancing, Reiki infused crystal candles that have crystals hidden inside.

These candles help to promote peaceful energy in your life. When you light them, you surround yourself in the healing energy of reiki and the beautiful energy of your designated crystal.
Amethyst Ember was founded in 2019 and I am so grateful to be able to share my candles with you.

Amethyst Ember Crystal Candles are a great way to enhance and enjoy the energy in your space.
They are adorned with crystals, reiki-infused, clean burning, phthalate-free and eco-friendly.
You can light these luxurious candles to enhance your meditation or yoga practice, whenever you need a moment of relaxation and peace or any time you feel like you need energy clearing. We are proud to provide luxury, eco-friendly candles of the highest quality.

COCOBEESWAX
While there are both health and environmental concerns with paraffin waxes and great concerns in the soybean industry regarding deforestation and the use of pesticides, Amethyst Ember decided to avoid paraffin and soy waxes and instead offer a luxury wax blend of coconut and beeswax in every candle.
Coconut wax is smokeless and soot free, clean burning and sustainable with no concerns of deforestation.
Beeswax is the most natural wax on the market and is made by Honeybees. Beeswax helps to purify the air as it burns, it is non-toxic, eco-friendly, clean burning and the use of beeswax helps to support Beekeepers.​
Our candles have a perfect blend of these two luxurious waxes.
FSC WOODEN WICKS
Wooden wicks are used in Amethyst Ember candles.
Our wooden wicks are eco-friendly and clean burning.
The hand-crafted wooden wicks in our candles are made from fruit trees sourced in the USA from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-Certified Mills.
They provide a tantalizing crackling sound while producing little carbon buildup, debris, and soot.
PARABEN + PHTHALATE FREE
All of the candles are deliciously scented with fragrance oils that are 100% paraben-free & phthalate-free.
Research has been done on the effects of phthalates on human health. In addition to their status as endocrine disruptors, phthalates are linked to increased risk of breast cancer, fertility issues, and other health problems.
Why not use essential oils?
Essential oils are meant to be distilled in cold water or applied topically when mixed with a carrier oil. At heated temperatures, some essential oils can become toxic while fragrance oils have been specifically formulated and tested to work safely at high temperature levels.
Amethyst Ember candles have eliminated many possible health and environmental issues to provide you with the highest quality luxury candles.
ETHICALLY SOURCED CRYSTALS
The crystals used in our candles come from ethical and sustainable sources.
Most of our crystals come from family owned mines that are passed down from generation to generation, much like a family farm in Canada.
We only purchase from verified suppliers who ensure the correct and appropriate mining certificates are granted, which establishes their operations as safe and environmentally sound.

We only work with partners in the industry who we can trust.
ECO-FRIENDLY + SUSTAINABLE
We have always felt a very strong connection to nature and believe that businesses should be offering eco-friendly and sustainable products whenever possible.
While it may be higher in cost to create a truly sustainable product, Earth is the only home we have and we are responsible for preserving it.
This is why we have taken great care in sourcing only the very best ingredients for our candles.
HANDMADE IN CANADA
All our products are handmade in Canada and reiki infused in house by Holly - the founder and CEO of Amethyst Ember, Advanced Crystal Practitioner & Reiki Master.
She takes great pride and care in each and every candle and goes above and beyond to ensure Amethyst Ember honours Mother Earth.
EARTH FRIENDLY PACKAGING
All our packaging is made from earth friendly, reusable, recyclable and biodegradable ingredients.
Our candles are housed in glass jars that can be repurposed.
Our packaging and materials are eco-friendly and recyclable.
However, you can trust that your packaging and candles will also look high end and beautiful.
Amethyst Ember is where eco-friendly meets luxury.
REUSABLE JAR
We are dedicated to reducing our waste and environmental foot print.

Your candle jar can be repurposed into many things like, a makeup brush holder, a spice jar, a jar for storing trinkets, a plant pot and much more.
​
However, if you do not want to repurpose your jar, we can help to keep it out of the garbage.
If you are local to us, we have created a jar return program where you can return your used Amethyst Ember candle jars to be properly recycled for you.
