Practicing gratitude is life changing.
Once you begin to intentionally appreciate what is around you, your mindset completely changes.
Part of my morning routine is to sit down with my coffee, light a crystal candle and write down 3 things every day that I am grateful for.
It could be, that I am so grateful for the roof over my head, the food in my home, that I woke up today when others didn't, that I was blessed enough to be the mother of my beautiful children, or that my favourite tea is on sale.
Whatever it is, it doesn't matter how profound, finding even the smallest things to be grateful for can be just as powerful.
Without a doubt, when I practice gratitude, my stress level decreases and my mood is more positive.
This practice shifts my focus and I begin to look for more and more things to be grateful for throughout the day.
It's pretty hard to have a bad day if youre always looking for the blessings in it.
This can be a very humbling practice as it reminds me of so many things I take for granted and it makes me appreciate all of the good I have around me, even during the bad.
